Leyla Sudbury
Managing Director
Leyla is the Managing Director of Conker Capital. She leads day-to-day management of the firm and serves as interim COO/CEO of acquired assets. She is currently driving forward new acquisitions in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Precision Manufacturing space.
Prior to Conker, Leyla led operational excellence, strategy and implementation projects at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG, Leyla partnered directly with small and medium manufacturing companies to deliver growth and EBITDA uplift. She holds two engineering degrees from the University of Cambridge in England, and a masters in economics from Tsinghua University in China where she was a Schwarzman Scholar.
Leyla grew up in the industrial north of England where she fell in love with all things manufacturing. She is now based in the New York with her husband, and near to her in-laws in rural Pennsylvania.
Colin Bozarth
Senior Advisor, PCBs
Colin has over 15 years’ experience in electronics, software and systems design. He has directly designed and delivered numerous custom Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for FDA cleared diagnostic devices.
He is the founder and Managing Director of Remit Capital. Prior to Remit, Colin was a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), an Electrical Engineer at Luminex Corporation and an entrepreneur. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
Daniel Bondy
Senior Advisor, Deal Structure
Dan is the acquisitions advisor at Conker Capital. He brings a long track record of transacting in the small/mid-sized market with a focus on industrials.
He is the Managing Director of BoltRock Holdings (BR), a family investment office based in New York City. Prior to BR, he worked at the investment firms Elliott, Carlyle and KRR. He holds degrees from Harvard Business School and the University of Pennsylvania.
Julia Beardwood
Senior Advisor, Marketing and Sales
Julia is the marketing and sales advisor at Conker Capital. She founded the branding agency Beardwood&Co which serves household names such as Pottery Barn, Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Danone. She successfully transitioned the business to new owners in 2024 after 20 years of leadership and now serves as an advisor.
She is a member of EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women (a global program that recognizes and supports high growth women-owned businesses) and previously worked at Landor, D’Arcy and P&G. She holds qualifications from the Université Paris-Sorbonne and University of Newcastle.
